Bessarion Razmadze of Bessarion always holds the closing show of Fashion Week in Tbilisi. There is a certain overwhelming and intense energy that makes the show highly anticipated. The models stomp down the runway with purpose—unfortunately this season’s clothes lacked a similar kind of force. Leopard-print spliced dresses seemed out of place and last-minute. Better was a huge checked cape that enveloped the model who wore it.
One standout was a pair of trousers that hinted at Razmadze’s signature play on proportions. The sides were pinched and flared out. It cut a cool figure and possessed some of the intensity that the designer is known for.
