Asger Juel Larsen launched his eponymous line in 2010, and has since cemented himself as one of Denmark’s enfants terribles—and favorite menswear designers.
Larsen took over the tony Hotel d'Angleterre to present Born Worn, his survivalist-hued Fall outing, which fairly brimmed over with cargo jackets, ponchos, and buffalo checks. If Bowie homages have become something of a token element at collections since the musician’s passing, then the designer’s tribute to Motörhead’s Lemmy Kilmister felt a welcome touch, from the live band’s cover of “Ace of Spades” down to an emblazoned sweatshirt (I don’t wanna live forever, with the date of Kilmister’s death) that referenced the same track.
