Kim said that’s because in October and November, when this collection ships, the Oscar client tends to have a lot of big events, maybe this year more than ever as New York recovers from the pandemic. A taffeta gown cut in that can’t-fail-to-be-noticed Ugo Rondinone citrine, as voluminous as Swift’s minidress was fitted, went unpictured. Maybe that’s because we’ll be seeing it on another red carpet this summer. Cannes, perhaps.
