With their signature body-con dresses and peekaboo cutouts galore, the Cushnie et Ochs designers have always had a sexy thing going on. So when they presented a NSFW mood board covered with bondage imagery this week, it was almost a surprise that they haven't ventured into this territory before. Harnesslike Y-straps decorating bustier tops, flirty A-line dresses, and slinky evening gowns were the lineup's primary reference to the now-popularized art of tying up (Fifty Shades is the gift that keeps on giving for the fashion biz). There was plenty of black leather to go around here, too, but that's been a big category for the label since the beginning. What was new were the printed leather pieces. A cropped leather tee and its matching pencil skirt featured a delicate—almost bleeding—floral pattern that added just the right amount of sweet to Cushnie et Ochs' sexy equation.
